Security Surveillance Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly observant and detail-driven professional to join our team as a Remote Security Surveillance Specialist. In this critical role, you will monitor live security feeds across all our store locations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and identifying any prohibited or unsafe activities. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a secure and safe environment for both customers and employees while mitigating risk to our business operations.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in retail loss prevention, security monitoring, or surveillance operations-especially those accustomed to staying focused and alert while watching monitors for extended periods of time. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Security Feeds: Observe live surveillance footage from multiple store locations to identify unsafe behaviors, unauthorized actions, or any activities that violate company policies.
• Incident Identification & Reporting: Respond promptly to suspicious or prohibited activities by escalating concerns to the appropriate teams for immediate action.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all incidents and monitoring activities for reporting purposes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with store managers, security teams, and other departments to resolve issues and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Support Improvement Initiatives: Provide feedback and recommendations for enhancing security protocols and surveillance systems, based on observations and data analysis.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in retail loss prevention, security operations, or surveillance monitoring is highly preferred.
• Strong focus, vigilance, and ability to remain attentive during long periods of data and video monitoring.
• Exceptional decision-making skills and the ability to act quickly under pressure.
• Clear and professional communication skills for reporting incidents and collaborating with other teams.
• Familiarity with security software and video surveillance systems is a strong plus.
